Art Rutledge, President

Art Rutledge serves as Fawn Electronics’ President. In this role he has full responsibility for all facets of Fawn’s electronics operations. He joined the Company in August 1999.

Prior to joining Fawn, Art was Vice President of Marketing and Sales with EOG, Inc., an EMS company in Hunt Valley, MD. During his 44 years in the EMS industry, Art has served in a variety of capacities including manufacturing management, contract administration, program management and sales/marketing management.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Towson University. He has been active in the EMS industry through participation in IPC. In addition to being a member of IPC’s EMSI Council, he serves on the Steering Committee. He has also chaired a number of other IPC committees. At Fawn, Art has driven a focus on adopting world class systems and processes.

This vision has included Fawn taking a pioneer role in RoHS conversion activities and has extended into Fawn’s business strategy following last years’ fire. He has spearheaded an effort to rebuild to accommodate likely customer needs rather than simply replace the prior business model. The end result is a Company with poised for continued growth, whose plant and equipment are optimized for the industry’s current technological requirements.
