Kim Boykin - Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Kim Boykin serves as Fawn Electronics’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He originally joined the Company in 1982 in a supervisory role. He was promoted to plant manager in 1997 and then Vice President of Operations in 2002, and promoted to his current position in 2011.The end result is broad based experience in all aspects of Plant operations including, manufacturing, industrial engineering, production control, and human resource management as well as Sales and Marketing operations including oversight for all sales budgeting and forecasting and extensive Customer interaction for both exiting business and new sales development.

He earlier spent four years in manufacturing at GTE Sylvania and a year with Watson Electrical Construction Company. He holds an AAS degree in electrical engineering and has pursued studies toward a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. (AAS from Nash Community College, business studies at both Barton College and North Carolina Wesleyan).

Kim has overseen the Company’s manufacturing operations almost since its inception. He has been a critical team member as Fawn has grown in terms of revenue, employee count and capabilities. He also played a key role in both its contingency planning and recovery activities after the 2005 factory fire.
